About Us

We are Missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

We have made this blog to help anyone who uses it develop a deeper relationship with God.
Our message will enable you to improve the quality of your lives. It will help you deal with the problems and challenges we all face in life. The message we share is of great value and importance... So listen!

Find ways to apply the things we share in your lives. (See John 7:17)

We encourage all to ask sincere questions ( 1 Thessalonians 5:21) so your questions and commentary are always welcome.

As you sincerely seek after truth and find that these things we share are true, we encourage you to learn more by meeting with the missionaries and preparing yourself to follow the example of Jesus Christ by being baptized by someone holding the proper priesthood authority of God. We both did it, and it's one of the greatest choices we have ever made in our lives!

Since you will be reading this Blog written by some nameless missionaries you have never met, we would like to tell you a little bit about ourselves.

Elder Witbeck
Hi, I'm Elder Brad Witbeck. I love horseback riding, the bagpipes, and long walks on the beach... Well, I was serious about one of those, but I'll leave that up to you to decide which one it was. I grew up in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, occasionally known as Comptonwood Heights ( due to the massive police presence, per capita). I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and have never been happier! I have been serving for around a year and a half now, and the mission just gets better every day.
I love the doctrines that I get to teach, and I want to share them with everyone I can, kind of like when you eat the best cookie you have ever had, and then you want everyone else to try it for themselves! I am particularly enthralled by the idea that God is our Heavenly Father, and the unique way that this is taught in my Church. It has meant a lot to me in my life, and has given me a greater sense of direction and purpose. It's part of why I'm still a Mormon, and why I share it. I know that God is our Father in Heaven, and that He sent His son Jesus Christ to show us the best way to live. I know that the true way Christ taught has been restored again through prophets today, and I am thankful for their guidance and counsel. I know that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God, and that the Bible and all scripture has been given to us by God for our growth and gain, and because of it I know that God is personally interested in each and every one of our lives.
I am a son, a writer, an actor, a missionary, I can run as fast as an average 20 year old male, and I'm a Mormon... and a co-creator of this blog.

Elder Potter
Well hello, I am Elder Aaron Potter. I am from Idaho Falls, Idaho (IF to the natives, shout out). I was called to serve here in the New York New York North Mission speaking Portuguese. I have been serving a mission for about a year and a half and I have loved every minute of it! Something about me is I love my family more than just about anything in this world. That is one of the reasons I am a Mormon (eternal families). I love sports. Anything to do with sports, I am there. Well something interesting about me that not many people know is that when I was a young lad, I was asked by Batman himself to become his apprentice to fight crime and eventually become his predecessor as the Dark Knight. But, to many peoples surprise, I turned down the offer so I could stay with my family (refer to earlier in the paragraph about how I love my family). True story. I have amazing friends. They are the best. I have a testimony of this gospel.
I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he suffered and died for me personally. I know the Book of Mormon, and the Bible, to be the word of God. I know that the church that Jesus Christ established on the Earth was restored through a modern day prophet, and that prophet was Jospeh Smith. I know we have a living day prophet today who's name is Thomas S. Monson. I know families can be together forever. I am a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.... and a co-creator of this blog.

  2. You may not be serving full time any longer - but if you get a chance to read my message I want you to know that you have touched my heart with this blog. I am currently serving as a mental health adviser senior missionary and am always looking for ideas for the young missionaries that I serve. Thanks for this!
